Setting up RSVP

How to enable online RSVP and configure response options for your guests.

Last updated

Online RSVP lets your guests confirm attendance from a secure, personal link. Enable it, set your deadline, and track responses from your guest dashboard. Every household gets its own RSVP link, so guests never need to search for their name or create an account.

How RSVP works

Our Big Yes RSVP works from your guest list. You add households and guests to your list first, then send each household its own secure RSVP link by email invitation (or share it directly, including by WhatsApp). The household taps the link and submits their response, no search and no sign-up. This keeps your RSVP list clean and prevents uninvited responses from coming through.

Anyone with your site link can view your wedding website, but only a household with its own RSVP link can submit a response.

Enabling RSVP

Turn on RSVP

  1. 1

    Go to RSVP settings

From your dashboard, open Guests and then select RSVP settings.

  2. 2

    Enable RSVP

Toggle Accept RSVPs on. This adds the RSVP section to your published wedding site.

  3. 3

    Set your RSVP deadline

Enter the date by which guests should respond. This date is shown on your site and used as a reminder for guests who have not yet RSVPd. A common choice is 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding.

  4. 4

    Choose events to RSVP to

Select which of your events guests can RSVP to. If you have a white wedding and a traditional wedding, guests can RSVP to each separately. Guests will only see events they are invited to.

  5. 5

    Configure meal and dietary options

If you are collecting meal preferences, enable the Meal choices option and enter the options guests can choose from (e.g. "Chicken", "Beef", "Vegetarian"). You can also enable a free-text Dietary requirements field.

  6. 6

    Save your settings

Click Save. RSVP is now live on your site for any guests you have added to your list.

Add your guest list first

RSVP only works for guests you have already added to your list. Add your households and guests before you share your site link. See Managing your guest list.

Note

Your site must be published before guests can access the RSVP form. You can configure RSVP settings and build your guest list at any time before publishing.
