Your registry lets guests give gifts you actually want. Add items from any online or physical store by pasting in a link, or create cash gift funds for experiences, your home, or your honeymoon. Guests pay directly to you via your connected payment gateway.
Types of registry items
Our Big Yes supports two types of registry items:
- Wish-list items: a product at an external retailer (Woolworths, Takealot, @Home, etc.) linked by URL. Guests can mark an item as claimed so others know not to buy it.
- Cash gift funds: a pot guests can contribute to with any amount they choose. Great for a honeymoon, a home deposit contribution, or a new appliance. Cash goes straight to your connected payment gateway.
Adding a wish-list item

Open your registry
From your dashboard, go to Registry and click Add item.

Paste the product link
Paste the URL of the product from any retailer's website. Our Big Yes will try to fetch the product name and image automatically. You can edit these details if needed.

Set the item details
Fill in or confirm:
- Item name: e.g. "Le Creuset 5.3L Casserole Dish"
- Price: the approximate price in Rands, so guests know what they are contributing to
- Quantity: how many of this item you want (most items are quantity 1)
- Note: optional extra detail for guests (e.g. the colour or size you prefer)

Save the item
Click Save item. It will appear on your registry page, visible to guests once your site is published.
Mix wish-list and cash items
A registry with both physical wish-list items and cash funds gives guests a range of options. Some prefer buying something tangible; others prefer the flexibility of contributing cash.Note
