Our Big Yes takes 0% of cash gift contributions. Every rand a guest gives to your registry goes directly to your connected payment gateway account. The only fee on gifts is your gateway's standard processing fee, which you would pay with any online payment provider.
How it works
When you connect your own payment gateway (Paystack, Yoco, PayFast or iKhokha in South Africa, or Stripe internationally) to Our Big Yes, guest contributions are processed directly by your gateway. Our Big Yes facilitates the connection but is not in the payment flow. The money never passes through us.
This means:
- 0% to Our Big Yes on any gift amount
- Your gateway's processing fee applies (set by your gateway, not by us)
- Funds settle directly to your bank account on your gateway's schedule
Why we do it this way
Many wedding platforms take a percentage of every gift. We think that is unfair. Guests are giving money to you, not to a platform. By connecting your own gateway, you get the security and compliance of an established payment provider without a middleman taking a cut of your wedding gifts.
